Rotel has introduced its new RMB-1504 Class AB 4-channel amplifier, which can be used in home theatre and custom installation multi-room audio set-ups.
The RMB-1504 power amplifier delivers 70 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 115 watts into 4 ohm loads. It provides power and refinement for object-based overhead speakers in home theatre installations and will complement Atmos systems while providing the drive required for custom installation and multi-room audio solutions, says the company.
The 12 volt trigger input and output connections, user selected audio signal sense power control, front panel volume attenuators, audio output link connections, five-way speaker binding posts, and available rack mount kit provide installation flexibility.
An oversized factory built toroidal transformer and high efficiency capacitors drive an array of high current output transistors ensuring fast transient timing, accurate detail, and controlled consistency of low frequency, regardless of the loudspeakers load rating or cable run distance.
"Maintaining crucial timing and energy while delivering effortless power is a signature trait of this amplifier providing increased speaker placement options," says Rotel.
The Rotel RMB-1504 power amplifier is available now through the company's Canadian distributor, Kevro International, for an MSRP of $1,349 ea.
