HP's Elite Dragonfly is a Compact Business Convertible

The HP Elite Dragonfly is a sub one-kilogram ultralight premium convertible PC that the company says is designed for "next generation workplaces."

"A PC should provide freedom, adapt, and transform how and where today's business professionals work," says Alex Cho, President, Personal Systems, HP Inc.

Dubbed the "world's lightest" compact business convertible at under a kilogram, the Elite Dragonfly comes with a 13" screen, up to 24.5-hour battery life, and that latest Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. Optional gigabit-class 4G LTE6 allows workers to connect and collaborate from almost anywhere thanks to 4x4 LTE antennas. It also comes pre-installed with the HP WorkWell personal well-being software that coaches you to take breaks and provides productivity tips to help workers find a healthy work-life balance.

Precision crafted from CNC-machined Magnesium for durability, the backlist keyboard has been redesigned to be ultra-quiet, while there's also a lightweight touchpad. The screen-to-body ratio is almost 86%, and the convertible easily transforms from PC to tablet.

Featuring ocean bound plastics in the speaker enclosure components and keyboard key caps. It works with premium accessories like a Sleeve and Bluetooth Travel Mouse.

Additional features include HP Sure Sense that defends against malware attacks on mobile workers using artificial intelligence, HP Sure Recover with Embedded Reimaging that gets users back up and running fast, HP Sure View Gen3, HP's integrated privacy screen, and HP Privacy Camera that helps users control what is shared with the world.

The HP Elite Dragonfly is expected to be available on October 25 starting at US$1,549.
