D&H Canada hosted its annual Technology Conference: Toronto in the city on September 12, spotlighting the newest solutions for SMBs and consumers, keynotes, and more.
The event, held at the Mississauga Convention Centre in Mississauga, ON, about 40 minutes outside of downtown Toronto, opened at 1 p.m. with presentations starting at 1:30 p.m. The exhibit floor, meanwhile, was open from 5-7 p.m.
This year, D&H Canada welcomed its first keynote speaker to the Toronto event, Kirk Sinclair, Partner Sales Executive - OEM at Microsoft. Seminars, meanwhile, were delivered from Asus, HP, Lenovo, and Micron.
More than 40 leading D&H manufacturer partners participated in the event, including Cisco, HP Enterprise/Aruba, Netgear, and Poly. Manufacturers that made their debut at the Toronto show included Acer, AMD, APC, BenQ, Creative Labs, Intel, Ubiquiti, and Verbatim.
Additionally, D&H Canada hosted booths focused on the distributor's Financial Services offering, and on its newly-launched D&H Solutions & Services program, which delivers professional and managed services to MSP and reseller partners. The ASCII Group had a booth to help resellers learn about the benefits of joining the association.

The exhibit floor was augmented to feature a set of interactive "Solutions Zones" to provide a more immersive experience around PC gaming gear, digital signage solutions, and cutting-edge components. Attendees were able to "check in" at each zone on D&H's new Mobile Event app for a chance to win prizes, in addition to a grand prize sponsored by Creative Labs, an event "Passport" prize, and event gift card giveaways sponsored by Cisco.
"Our Technology Conferences continue to grow in their content, format, and in the value we introduce to our reseller and dealer partners at these events," says Roy Rivers, Vice President of Sales at D&H Canada. "As we move into a new era of profitability and performance for both ourselves and our reseller community, we're dedicated to making sure our customers are well informed on the latest trends, technologies, and service models in this increasingly digital economy.
"We deliver," he continues, "a range of crucial educational opportunities all in one forum, allowing resellers, dealers, and etailers to break into new markets and add lucrative competencies. Whether we're teaching partners about the expanding PC gaming niche, or identifying new ways to sell higher market services, we're vested in their growth. When they prosper, we succeed also."
