V-Moda has released three new mobile accessories today: its SpeakEasy Lightning Cable, V-MAN headphone stand, and REMIX Carrying Case.
The SpeakEasy DAC/AMP Lightning cable can be used to improve iPhone and iPad audio with hi-res analog sound. Compatible with all V-MODA over-ear and on-ear headphones and most brands of detachable 3.5mm (1/8") port headphones from brands like Beats, it comes with a 24-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC), built-in amplifier, and integrated mic and remote. The concept, says Val Kolton, CEO of V-MODA, was developed after Apple removed the headphone jack from its iOS devices. "With SpeakEasy," he says, "listeners can keep using many brands f headphones with 3.5mm ports and enjoy audiophile-grade sound quality while plugging into the Lightning port on iOS products."
It is certified by Apple "Made for iOS" standards, and includes V-MODA's VAMP headphone amp technology to ensure 31mW output power. The three-button remote includes voice assistance control with Siri or Google Assistant on Apple devices. The cable is fibre-reinforced, able to withstand one-million bends, and the plug is 24k gold-plated.
The V-Moda SpeakEasy Lightning cable sells for US$100.
With a modern matte finish, the V-MAN headphone stand can be used to store headphones, or other objects as well, on your desk or shelf when they aren't in use. Crafted from 100% stainless steel, it is dubbed a "universal object servant" that mimicks the look of a man on his knees, offering something precious. It comes in a black or silver geometric shape for US$100 as well.
And finally, the REMIX Carrying Case is designed for carrying V-MODA's REMIX Mini Hi-Fi Bluetooth speaker. It protects the speaker from dust and scratches, making it ideal for taking with you on-the-go. It comes in black vegan leather with a subtle embosses V-MODA logo, and is tailor-made to form-fit the REMIX speaker. When not in use, it folds flat like an envelope so you can tuck it back into your bag or purse. It starts at US$35.
