The first ever decline in iPhone sales revenue resulted in Apple's first quarterly revenue decline in 13 years. Since their 2007 debut, iPhones' financial numbers had climbed quarterly, as has company stock since 2003. Shares fell 7%, reducing their value by US$43 billion.

A class action lawsuit in New York State has followed Quebec regulatory charges against David Baazov, CEO of Amaya Gaming, Montreal-based parent of giant online gaming sites PokerStars and Full Tilt. Baazov has taken an "indefinite" paid leave of absence.
David Baazov, CEO of Amaya, Montreal-based giant in online gambling, operating sites PokerStars and Full Tilt, is charged by Quebec's Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) with five counts of illegal stock trading practices. Baazov maintains his innocence.
