SunBriteTV, a SnapAV brand, has revealed a redesigned and re-engineered Veranda Series of outdoor televisions, offering better image quality, expanded control and audio options, and a sleeker design.
The upgrades include full HDR support, a significantly brighter screen, IP control, and plug-and-play compatibility for SunBrite outdoor soundbars. Like the original Veranda series, the new line is weatherproof, comes with a premium direct-lit 4K UHD screen, and is designed for permanent outdoor installation in full-shade areas.
With a brighter 400-nit screen, Veranda is now up to 50% brighter than many indoor televisions, and 30% brighter than its predecessor.
With complete IP control, integrators can easily add a Veranda TV to the rest of a system. Meanwhile, the built-in amplifier and plug-and-play compatibility simplifies the process of adding a SunBrite outdoor soundbar, says the company.
The more contemporary look includes a thinner bezel across all screen sizes, and a metallic black finish.
All Veranda Series TVs include a generous weatherproof media bay to house most popular streaming devices, and support HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2, ensuring compatibility with 4K content sources.
"The original Veranda was all about bringing professional AV integrators the right product for full-shade outdoor installs at a price their customers find compelling," says Mike Jordan, Vice President of Audio and Video, SnapAV. "The new Veranda maintains that focus, while improving outdoor performance with a brighter, 4K HDR screen and installer-friendly options like IP control and simplified audio upgrades. And with a sleek new design, thinner bezels, and a smooth metallic finish, it looks great too."
The new SunBriteTV Veranda Series TVs are available in 43-, 55-, and 65-inch screen sizes will be available September 17; and a 75-inch model will follow in Q4.
