Staub Electronics and Purpose AV have donated a total of $12.208 in support of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada as part of Purpose AV's pledge to give back to charity.
This figure brings the companies' two-year total to $19,078 raised. Once annually, Purpose AV says that it will donate a percentage of its sales to a charity in Canada that positively impacts the lives of children and youth across the country.
"Your support of the Purpose AV brand allows us to fulfill our mission of bringing social responsibility to everyday AV essentials and our pledge to changing the lives of youth through charitable giving," writes Staub in a letter to its dealers.
Purpose AV is a socially responsible brand that manufactures AV essentials that are designed to meet or exceed recognized industry standards and certifications while also being integrator-friendly and affordable. The latest products to be launched by the brand include the Purpose AV Surveillance line-up, which debuted in July and features the latest surveillance technology.
All products are 100% performance guaranteed and backed by a 10-year warranty. Purpose AV offers a daily in-stock promise as well: if they are out of stock on an item you need, the company will upgrade you to the closest equivalent at no charge.
"Social responsibility is one of the foundational pieces of Purpose AV," says Scott Trotter, President of Staub Electronics. "It's about giving back to our communities in a way that helps those who are less fortunate, with an emphasis on causes that improve the lives of children and youth so they can grow up healthy, happy, and have the opportunity to achieve their greatest potential."
Staub began its focus on social responsibility a decade ago when it became involved in Athletics For Kids, a privately-funded charity organization that puts BC children into sports. This evolved into the distributor becoming the founding sponsor of the annual Athletics For Kids Charity Golf Invitational.
The Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada provides a place for children and youth to belong when they aren't at home or in school. Their mission is to provide safe, supportive places where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships, and develop confidence and skills for life. Annually, the Boys and Girls Clubs serve over 12,000 children, youth, and families.
