Stampede Appoints Raad Raad as General Manager, Canada

Stampede has announced the appointment of industry veteran Raad Raad to the position of General Manager, Canada. He will report directly to Stampede President & CEO Kevin Kelly.

"Our Canadian business is growing at an accelerated rate and Raad is exactly the right candidate to manage our expanding operations throughout the country," says Kelly. "He has the demonstrated leadership qualities and superior management skills we require to successfully lead a motivated team of Stampeders who are dedicated to exceeding their customers' expectations daily."

Raad joins Stampede from SYNNEX Canada Limited, where he served as director of the company's VISUALSolv Technologies Initiative since 2015. As director, he succeeded in growing revenues from $77.9 million to $101 million, says Stampede, and led a team of business development, sales, product management, technical, and installation professionals.

Prior to SYNNEX, Raad was managing director of MXN Media, a digital signage integration firm that provides customers throughout Canada with a broad range of digital signage, interactive media, mobile, content development, and customized application solutions.

He also previously worked as general manager of Zoom Media, an installer and manager of digital signage networks, and president of Canada and general manager of international operations for CT Group Inc., a reseller of long-distance calling cards in Canada and the U.S.

"I am excited to welcome Raad to the Stampede team," adds Kelly, "at this very important inflection point in the company's history. He has what it takes to be a true Stampeder!"
