Spotify has partnered with Disney to launch a Disney Hub on its music streaming platform, featuring playlists for Disney fans of all ages.
The Hub will include Disney Hits, including top songs from the biggest Disney and Pixar films; Disney Favorites with current tunes, plus the ones you loved when you were a child; Disney Classics, a nostalgic playlist that includes songs from the Disney Parks, live action and animated classic soundtracks, and songs from Disney Channel originals; Disney Sing-Alongs; Disney Princess with love ballads and coming-of-age breakaways; Marvel Music with all of the best songs and scores from favourite Marvel films and shows; and Best of Star Wars.
Spotify listeners in the U.S., U.K., Ireland, South Africa, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand can search "Disney" on Spotify to find a designated hub for the music behind some of their favourite Disney movies and TV shows. Stream playlists full of everything from The Little Mermaid to modern favorites like Frozen, to Star Wars instrumentals, and even Marvel movie soundtracks.
Spotify says that its listeners have already streamed more than two-billion minutes on the Disney Hits playlist this year along. The top-10 most-streamed Disney songs include "Let It Go" from Frozen, "How Far I'll Go" and "You're Welcome" from Moana, "Life is a Highway" (Cars), "You'll Be In My Heart" (Tarzan), "Do You Want to Build a Snowman" (Frozen), "I'll Make a Man Out of You" (Aladdin), "Try Everything" (Zootopia), and "Love is an Open Door" (Frozen.)
The most repeated Disney songs over the past month were "A Whole New World" and "Speechless" from Aladdin, "Let It Go" (Frozen), "Under the Sea" and "Part of Your World" (The Little Mermaid), "You've Got a Friend in Me" (Toy Story), I See the Light (Tangled), and "I Just Can't Wait to Be King" and "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" from The Lion King.
