If you were a fan of ‘90s series Beverly Hills 90210, you might feel a twinge of nostalgia when seeing or hearing about the new ‘90s-themed SodaStream, designed in partnership with actor Tori Spelling.
The limited edition SodaStream is neon and sparkling, just like many ‘90s trends, and can be used as any other SodaStream, to make sparkling beverages without any plastic waste or sugar additives.
"We saw the ‘90s style taking over and wanted to celebrate this cool decade but also remind people that not all trends should make a comeback," says Matti Yahav, Chief Marketing Officer for SodaStream International. "Let's leave single-use plastic waste in our past."
"Some of my favorite memories, trends and inspiration come from the ‘90s," adds Spelling, who played Donna on the hit series, and will reprise her role in the upcoming six-episode reboot, BH90210. "I'm thrilled to have partnered up with SodaStream to create this stylish ‘90s inspired product with the higher purpose of raising awareness about the issue of single-use plastic waste."
Naturally, only 90 of these limited edition SodaStreams will be made, and they will sell for, you guessed it, US$90.
