Retailers, Restaurants, And Hotels Can Now Get Apple Music

Apple Music is now available for businesses, including retailers, restaurants, and hotels, through the new Apple Music for Business service, available through PlayNetwork.

With Apple Music for Business, enterprises can create a unique brand sound and help better connect with their customers through well-thought-out playlists. As music is played, artists and creators are also compensated for their work.

Several companies have already signed on, including Harrods, Levi's, PizzaExpress, Everyman Cinema, and Apple's own retail stores. Customers can play a curated mix of Apple Music and custom playlists, and manage playback through the app, including scheduling music. The flexible technology platform built for enterprise environments provides reliable and scaleable control based on the business' needs.

Apple Music for Business is available in 15 countries today, with more on the horizon.

In an industry first, customers can discover the songs that they hear in-venue on Apple Music through a marketing program that combines in-store and digital marketing tools. This allows businesses to add music-based content to the marketing channels they already use and extend their reach across new touchpoints. PlayNetwork engagement experts help plan, launch, and optimize campaigns, and reports show businesses how their music strategy is driving end-to-end customer engagement.

PlayNetwork, an Octave Group company, is the provider of Apple Music for Business and responsible for technology development, music curation, licensing, marketing and sales, and owns the direct relationship with the brands.
