Red Leaf Audio has been appointed as Canada's exclusive distributor for U.K. made Wilson Benesch loudspeakers, turntables, and audio racks.
Red Leaf Audio will be offering Wilson Benesch's Analogue Collection, Square Series II, and reference Geometry Series lines. Founded in 1989 and based in Sheffield, England, Wilson Benesch is a leading exporter of high performance, bespoke, high-tech audio products.
"These world-class audio components are among the most technologically advanced available, bringing the listener closer than ever to the original art and passion stored within musical recordings both past and present," says David Jensen, President of Red Leaf Audio.
Wilson Benesch is widely respected throughout the industry, says Jensen, and produces exceptional sound thanks to its engineering and advanced materials used, like carbon fibre. The company's application of carbon fibre composites within its reference products has led to industry-leading signal-to-noise performance, as a result of the way the company exploits the high stiffness and energy damping characteristics of these materials. Almost all (95%) of Wilson Benesch's product inventory is designed, manufactured, and assembled in house.
In addition to manufacturing its own line of products, Wilson Benesch has also delivered new products and technology through collaborative R&D projects, including the Torus Infrasonic Generator and the Tactic Drive Unit. In late 2017, Wilson Benesch announced its latest collaborative R&D project as part of a €7.4-million European research initiative with 17 partners from Universities, SMEs and Industrial sectors. The R&D program aims to create new technologies based around bio-based polymers and natural fibre reinforcements.
"We are thrilled," adds Jensen, "to be the official import partner to Wilson Benesch in Canada."
Red Leaf Audio will be holding several Music Evenings to introduce dealers and customers to experience Wilson Benesch products; contact the company for more information and to register. Red Leaf will also be exhibiting the line at the TAVES Consumer Electronics Show in the fall.
