Munich High End: DALI Speakers to Adopt Lenbrook's BluOS Platform

Pickering, ON-based Lenbrook Corp. has announced an agreement with DALI Loudspeakers that will see the Danish manufacturer employ Lenbrook's BluOS wireless multi-room music platform in an extension to a forthcoming wireless speaker system.

BluOS is the software platform underlying Lenbrook's Bluesound wireless multi-room music products. BluOS modules are also available for select NAD amplifiers, another Lenbrook brand. And Lenbrook has broadly hinted that BluOS will be made available in future products from its PSB Loudspeakers brand. This marks the first time that BluOS is being adopted by a third party.

"There is a growing list and wide variety of wireless multi-room audio solutions that
loudspeaker companies can choose to develop on," stated Lars Worre, DALI's Managing
Director in a prepared statement. "Our team reviewed the options and our performance values led us to the BluOS platform, which has earned an enviable reputation as a world leader in this space."

"DALI is a highly respected company with 34 years of unwavering dedication to its pursuit
of audio performance," commented Gordon Simmonds, CEO of Lenbrook Corp. "Given our roots in high-fidelity audio, we simply will not allow computer technology companies to convince users that compressed audio is true hi-fi when we know it is not true hi-fi."
