Lifeprint has developed a new and larger version of its portable printer, which can now print 3x4.5" Hyperphotos that come to life when you look at them through an iPhone's camera.
The portable printer now connects to the smartphone via both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, allowing users to print from anywhere in the world. The images come to life via augmented reality, which is also incorporated on the box so users can see a video of how it works before purchasing the printer.
Customers can share their photos on the Lifeprint social network, allowing others to print them on a Lifeprint printer, anywhere in the world. With the new Wi-Fi feature, users can send photos to their printer from anywhere in the world and the physical printed photo will be waiting for them when they get back home. The Bluetooth option is also still available for local printing as well.
Lifeprint can print anything in your camera roll, including saved Snaps, GIFs, Apple Live Photos, and more. Integration with Facebook and Instagram makes printing social memories easy as well.
In addition to printing, the Lifeprint app allows users to customize prints with filters, memes, stickers, and more.
Lifeprint uses sticky-backed ZINK Paper and ZINK Zero Ink technology to produce full-colour digital images without the need for ink cartridges, ribbons, or toner.
The 3x4.5 Lifeprint printer is available for US$150 exclusively at Apple.com and Apple stores starting today. Lifeprint film for the 3x4.5 is US$50 for a pack of 40 and US$30 for a pack of 20.
