Erikson Consumer is now distributing the new evolution of the JBL Arena series speakers in Canada, the Arena MKII series, which offers an expanded assortment, along with better performance.
The JBL Arena MKII is an advanced loudspeaker system for home stereo and home theatre applications that features 1" aluminum dome tweeters with high-definition waveguide sound design, and polycellulose woofers that register deep, signature JBL bass.
The Arena MKII series consists of three floorstanding models, two bookshelf models, two centre speaker models, and two powered subwoofers, all of which come in pantone black, and with pricing ranging from $299/pr. up to $1,199/pr.
The floorstanding models include the A170 2.5 way with dual 5.25" woofers and a frequency response of 44Hz-40kHz; the A180 (2.5 way, dual 6.5" woofers, 40Hz-40kHz); and the A190 (2.5 way, dual 8" woofers, 36Hz-40kHz.) The A120 and A130 bookshelf/surround loudspeakers are both 2.5 way, with 4.5" and 5.25" woofers, respectively. The A120 has a frequency response f 60Hz-40kHz and the A130 55Hz-40kHz. There are two centre channel speakers in the line: the two-way, dual 5.25" woofer A125C (75Hz-40kHz) and the two-way, 6 x 3" woofers (75Hz-40kHz) A135C. And finally there's the A100P 10", 300-watt sub, and the A120P 12" 500-watt sub, with frequency responses of 35Hz-150Hz and 32Hz-150Hz, respectively.
