Hitcase Pro 2.0 to Launch on Kickstarter This Month

Hitcase is taking to Kickstarter to launch its next adventure photography iPhone case, the Hitcase Pro 2.0, which will offer rugged protection for the device, as well as various photography features.

The case, which is set to launch on the crowdfunding site on April 26, 2017, is waterproof up to 16 feet deep underwater, and can also withstand dirt and sand ,and drops from as high as 16 feet. It comes equipped with compact, element-proof lenses for video, photography, and streaming, and can be used hands-free via six mount options.

"The first ever Hitcase was developed on the ski hill at Whistler, British Columbia," says Brooks Bergreen, Founder and CEO of Hitcase. "But the dream has always been to make something that was even tougher and easier to use, and so we redesigned the all new Hitcase Pro from the ground up, and we're excited to get it into people's hands."

The case is made with a tough, 0.58" CNC aluminum frame in either anodized silver or matte black, and comes with three TrueLUX interchangeable waterproof lens options - wide, superwide, and macro - for assisting with creating 4K videos and photos. Using the True Touch Screen, you'll get full functionality with the device.

In addition to compatibility with the six Hitcase mounts, the case is also compatible with all GoPro mounts. The grab and go seal also makes it easy to install, and to remove from the iPhone.

Users can share live stream content directly to Instagram, Facebook, or SnapChat, without the need for a computer or camera.

Through the Kickstarter campaign, early backets will get the case for $89. The campaign will run for 40 days, ending on June 1, 2017.
