Vervent Audio Group (VVAG) is planning a worldwide launch of Focal powered by Naim flagship stores. And following the opening of stores in South Korea and France, the first store opened in the U.S. earlier this year, in Scottsdale, AZ, and celebrated a grand opening on Wednesday, October 30.
The store, which is about 3,000 square feet in size and will employ three people, marks the third of a planned six stores to open by 2020 and, as noted, is the first for the company in the U.S. It's all part of VVAG's expansion strategy after buying U.S. and Canadian distribution companies Audio Plus Services and Plurison group earlier this year.
The first Focal Powered by Naim boutique opened in July in Seoul, South Korea followed by La Boutique du Son, which opened in Lyon, France in September. VVAG calls Scottsdale a "dynamic, growing region" in the U.S.
The opening was orchestrated with Mike Ware, the head of LMC Home Entertainment distribution network, which VVAG has worked with for years. The store is designed to offer a personalized customer experience, showcasing products like hifi speakers, headphones, audio streaming devices, and more. The store features a dedicated Grande Utopia demo room, a full Dolby Atmos home theatre experience, and Focal headphones listening stations.
"With these new physical boutiques, Vervent Audio Group is reinforcing its ambition to be as close as we can to each customer and their expectations, and to help them discover and experience the best possible sonic experience," says Christopher Sicaud, CEO of Vervent Audio Group. "For us, this really is an issue that is strategic and high-priority, in an environment centred exclusively on the customer."
The Arizona store will be open 6 days a week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and closed on Sundays.
