Fleet Complete has launched a new low-power asset tracker, exclusively on the Telus LTE-M network.
AT1 is small, durable and suited for a wide variety of applications, from transportation and agriculture to food services, pharmaceuticals, and emergency services. One battery charge supports 3,300 pings, and with the default reporting frequency of once per day, the device's battery life can last for years.
"AT1 is the latest in innovative asset tracking technology that is cost-effective and multi-functional," says Tony Lourakis, CEO of Fleet Complete. "It will help our Canadian customers protect what is critical to their business, avoid downtime due to lost or misplaced equipment, and save valuable time."
In addition to tracking GPS, the AT1 has sensors that capture humidity, temperature, light exposure, and impact. All parameters are easily monitored through a dedicated mobile app to ensure access to this data is available from anywhere.
"Telus' recently launched LTE-M network is empowering the future of IoT in Canada, and solutions like Fleet Complete's AT1 asset tracker are exactly the type of devices that will help bring that future to life," adds Michael Cihra, Vice President of IoT at Telus. "The Telus LTE-M network was purpose-built to support IoT devices, is 5G ready, and offers the most comprehensive LTE-M coverage in Canada. We are confident our customers will appreciate access to world-class devices like the Fleet Complete AT1."
The AI can be used to oversee industrial equipment, trailers and containers left on sites for long periods of time, to track valuable tools that are critical to daily operations, or to monitor temperature and humidity levels of environmentally sensitive goods.
Small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, it can be attached to nearly any surface with screws, ties, tape, or other securing mechanisms. The AT1 can be added to any Telus Fleet Complete fleet tracking and management platform, or may be deployed as a separate purchase.
