The Disney+ app will be available through Amazon devices, including Fire TV streaming devices, Fire TV Edition smart TVs, and compatible Fire tablets starting Tuesday, November 12.
Disney+ will be the home to popular Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic content that subscribers can stream, as well as original content such as The Mandalorian, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, and Lady and the Tramp. You can also revisit Disney's animation classics and nostalgic favourites like Pinnochio, Sleeping Beauty, and Robin Hood.
You can find and download the app by voice using Alexa: say "Alexa, open Disney Plus" into your Alexa Voice Remote, paired Echo device, or Fire TV Cube with Alexa built-in. Disney+ content will also be included in Fire TV's universal search feature so you can find and discover content with your voice. Say, "Alexa, play The Mandalorian" to start streaming; or discover Disney+ content in search results such as, "Alexa, find Star Wars movies."
Fire TV and Fire Tablet customers can sign up for a seven-day free trial directly on their Amazon device starting November 12th, after which they will be charged $9/mo. If a customer signed up for Disney+ on another device, they can simply log into their existing account.
