D&H Canada has wrapped up its 2017 Montreal Tech Show, which took place on Thursday, April 20 at the Plaza Volare in the Quebec city.
The fourth annual Montreal Technology Show brings value-added trade show offering to the Quebec area, presenting the latest and greatest wares from more than 30 of the company's vendor partners. In addition to an exhibit show floor that opened in the evening, various seminars ran from 4:30 through to 6:30 p.m. Registration was free to D&H Canada customers.
Participating manufacturers included Asus, Microsoft, Cisco, Lenovo, ViewSonic, Plantronics, HP, and more. Seminars will be offered from companies like Cisco, Lenovo, and Plantronics, on topics including security, IoT, SaaS, audio software management, and partner programs. Vendors who are new to D&H Canada and its Montreal trade event include Comsale Computers Inc. desktops and laptops; and nonda cables and accessories.
The show sported a "beach party" theme this year, and attendees were treated to a steel drum band courtesy of Cisco. A "Passport" game allowed customers who visited each of the 12 listed booths to get their passports documented for a chance to win a $300 Visa gift card. Other prizes included a Grand Prize V110 laptop from Lenovo and door prizes from Cisco. Seminar prizes (one winner at each session) included a Plantronics BackBeat Pro 2 headset at the Plantronics seminar; and $100 gift cards at each of the other seminars courtesy of Lenovo and Cisco, respectively. Door prizes were awarded at 8:45 p.m. before the close of the exhibit hall.
