Casio Canada Ltd. has revealed its new GA140 series of analog-digital watches that offer the same big case design as the brand's popular GA100/110 series, but with a new deep dial design inspired by ‘90s instruments.
The updated dial includes an analog speed indicator sub-dial at the 3 o'clock position and a myriad of LCDs encircling the hour and minute hands. Easy-to-read arrow shaped hands give balance to the overall layout.
Four of the five timepieces feature positive LCDs while the fifth features a reverse LCD.
The debut models are available in a variety of colourways including black (GA140-1A1), black with red and orange accents (GA140-1A4), blue (GA140-2A), red and gray (GA140-4A), and purple (GA140-6A).
Each watch in the series boasts G- SHOCK technology such as 200 metre water and shock resistance, magnetic resistance, an auto LED Light, world time for 48 cities + UTC, 1/1000th second stopwatch, speed indicator (Mas 1998unit / H), countdown timer (24-hour), and 12/24 hour formats.
The GA140 models retail in Canada for $129 and will be available for purchase starting this September at selected G-SHOCK retailers.
