Montreal, QC-based Automobility is releasing a number of new initiatives involving the Mycar brand of universally compatible telematics devices, including a connected car app, retailer communications portal, and 4G LTE hardware.
The Mycar device uses proprietary technology to interface with many remote start and vehicle security platforms.
The new Mycar connected car app will allow retailers to create their own personalized smartphone branded app that will automatically appear on the consumer's Mycar app, says Automobility. Retailers can then use it to communicate with customers.
Using patent pending technology, retailers will be able to create their own unique profiles on mybrandedapp.com, create a customized branded app, and use the dashboard to connect directly to customers through customized push notifications, communications, and promotions.
"We are very excited to be able to bring this unique technology to our retailers," says Michel Ethier, Technical Director at Automobility.
"The new MybrandedApp," the company continues in a prepared announcement, "will help retailers raise their brand awareness, get discovered in the market, and connect with their customers using an exclusive communication gateway."
In related news, Automobility has launched new Mycar 4G LTE hardware with 3G fallback that will deliver greater coverage for Mycar remote start and vehicle security, and at faster speeds.
"For Automobility, it is really exciting to be able to deliver the newest wireless network technology to our customers and be the fastest telematics remote start application," says Robert Nelson, President of Automobility.
